Women's Global Education Project presents:

2022

A benefit for girls' education Monday, May 9th, 2022

Women’s Global Education Project (WGEP)'s mission is to empower women and girls in rural regions of Africa through education, to build better lives and foster more equitable communities. Since 2004, our girls' education, literacy and leadership programs have impacted over 20,000 women and girls in more than 172 remote communities in Senegal & Kenya. We operate three complementary programs aimed at dismantling the structural barriers that keep girls from attending and succeeding in school: Sisters to School provides scholarships, health education, and mentoring to girls in middle school through university Our Sisters Read promotes literacy and a lifelong love of learning among primary school students Our Sisters Lead trains high school students in key leadership skills, and supports them in designing community development projects. WGEP partners with dynamic, grassroots leaders to ensure that our work is community-driven, sustainable, and appropriate to the actual needs of our target communities. Thank you for joining us to support this critical work!

Ndajee fundraising goal: $240,000
