The Project focuses on generating a roof structurally benefited from having a folded form for the roof. This paramatric design approach intends to experiment the optimisation of manipulating geometry over Karamba. Model is laser cut and 3d printed

ANALY S I S
Structural Simulation was done through Karamba 3D, using the mesh and note to determine the deformation ratio and area. The diagram shows where should the structural reinforcement come in for the free standing roof
H.E.Xtrusion Daniels Faculty of Archtitecture, Landscape, and Design, University of Toronto Derrick Wong, Filipe Costa
The Project focuses on experimenting with a new means of constuction by integrating wood working and CNC techniques. The structure is created so that no traditional columns are needed. The beauty of the unique shape of an optimized ampitheatre and the open plan. Model is laser-cut and assembled.

Tower Daniels Faculty of Archtitecture, Landscape, and Design, University of Toronto
The Project focuses on generating a parametric tower that allows easy alternation in the floor plan. The complexity gives the tower a natural beauty, yet the dimensions and coordinations can all be easily extraced in BIM. Model is laser-cut and assembled.
