CHICAGO CENTRAL LIBRARY MODERN LIBRARY
project
The Chicago Central Library is a nexus for information, learning, communication, and collaboration, epitomizing the modern library concept with its comprehensive resources and facilities. It houses a woodshop, a 3D printing room, and spaces for recording and practice, all geared towards skill development and knowledge sharing. The library also features display rooms and a concert hall where finished works are exhibited, reflecting its philosophy of ‘learning by sharing.’ This vibrant space cultivates a community where ideas thrive, and educational experiences go beyond traditional book learning.

MUSEUM OF URBAN FARM MUSEUM
project
With 90% of its food imported due to limited farming land, Singapore produces only 8% of its vegetables locally. The Museum of Urban Farm, an operational farm, employs cranes, vertical growing walls, and hydraulic systems for efficient and eco-friendly vegetable production. Its objectives are threefold: 1) to raise awareness about Singapore’s delicate food security, 2) to introduce the concept of vertical farming, and 3) to bolster local vegetable production.

Singapore, constrained by scarce farming land and limited fishing grounds, imports more than 90% of its food. project
The facade design of the parking garage is crafted to blend with the site’s natural setting, employing two key methods: the Enhanced Precast Approach and the Fabric Approach, to create an “of the ground” quality and seamlessly integrate the structure into its environment. The construction is planned in two phases, starting with 617 parking spaces and expanding to a total of 937. This development is in line with the University’s commitment to sustainable transportation options like mass transit, carpooling, walking, and cycling, supporting its transportation demand management (TDM) strategies and policies.
