Previous Question –

In Four-Ball stroke play with side A-B, A picks up while B completes the hole. The marker attributes the score for the hole to A and records no score for B. The better ball score is correct. The scorecard is certified and returned to the Committee. What is the ruling?

Answer –

It is not enough to identify a score as the score of the side in general. Each score on the scorecard must be clearly identified as the score of the individual partner who made it; if this is not done, the side is disqualified.

This Month’s Question –

A player plays a provisional ball into the same general location as the original ball and both balls are found. The player is unable to identify either ball. What is the ruling?
