A Celebration of Generosity and Gratitude

We were honored to recognize our friends and partners during the Fairchild & Legacy Societies Celebration

Woodland Healthcare Foundation recently hosted our bi-annual Fairchild & Legacy Societies Celebration, recognizing our Fairchild Society members (donors who have made lifetime gifts totaling $25,000 or more) and Legacy Society members (those who have included Woodland Healthcare Foundation in their estate plans).

During our celebration, we were honored to welcome several new members into our Fairchild & Legacy Societies and presented several awards, which we invite you to read about in this issue.

We are deeply grateful for the steadfast support of all of our donors, which helps provide high-quality, compassionate care to our families, friends and neighbors.

For more information on how you can become a part of the Fairchild Society or Legacy Society, contact Kevin Sanchez at (530) 669-5682 or kevin.sanchez2@dignityhealth.org.

Message from our Vice President of Philanthropy

As the days get longer and warmer, we at Woodland Healthcare Foundation are extremely grateful to serve such a kind and compassionate community, surrounded by friends like you.

Your support is testament to your care of this special community.

Whether you began partnering with us just recently or have steadfastly lent your support for decades, your generosity helps our hospital and clinics enhance healthcare for all. Since 1967, donors like you have given a remarkable $33.5 million to help care for our families, friends and neighbors. Your kindness, compassion and spirit continues to make a positive impact every day!

Thank you for your commitment to improving the health and well-being of the community. I wish you and your loved ones a wonderful spring season, full of abundant optimism and friendship.

With warm gratitude,

Community Impact Awards: Serving Our Community with Exceptional Generosity

Gena Bravo, President of Woodland Memorial Hospital and Board Member of Woodland Healthcare Foundation, presented two Community Impact Awards. These new awards honored Woodland Clinic Medical Group and Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation for each being incredible community partners who reached the $1 million dollar level of the Fairchild Society.

For more than 50 years, Woodland Clinic Medical Group has been a loyal philanthropic partner of Woodland Healthcare Foundation, supporting many campaigns, including the initiative to provide state-of-the-art equipment for our Emergency Department, the launch of the Yolo County Mobile Medicine Program, and more. Most recently, they supported Yolo Adult Day Health Center—which provides assistance to disabled adults to help manage chronic health conditions related to illness, injury or cognitive impairment. We appreciate each talented and caring Woodland Clinic Medical Group clinician for providing our community with exceptional medical care and for the Group's outstanding generosity.

Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation is committed to building strong communities and helping those in need—and all of us at Woodland Healthcare are grateful for their steadfast support and are humbled by their generosity. An incredible partner of Woodland Healthcare Foundation for over 17 years, they have supported the purchase of new and advanced medical equipment, and given to campaigns for the Emergency Department, Advanced Imaging and Surgical Services, and Yolo Adult Day Health Center. It is truly our great honor to partner with Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. Their exceptional generosity strengthens our region and helps save and improve the lives of those around us.

Thank you to all our honorees for their exceptional generosity and dedication to the health of our community!

At our celebration, we shared a video detailing the many ways your support changes lives in our community—to watch the video and to see photos from the event, please visit: supportwoodlandhealthcare.org/fairchild-legacy/2024
