LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Welcome to Loos Center for the Arts. We are delighted you have joined us for today’s event. Originally built in 1967 on the campus of Annhurst College, our venue was built to bring arts to the “Quiet Corner” of Connecticut -- an area otherwise left without ease of access. Through the years, the facility slowly became less public-focused; used for a period of time as a training facility and then later by a different independent school as their campus meeting space. In 2017, the venue was purchased by The Woodstock Academy with a revitalized vision for what the facility could present. As a result, Center for the Arts was created to fulfill the vision of years past; giving back to the local community by bringing accessible visual and performing arts to the area.

In May of 2019, a commitment of historic level by Mrs. Joan Loos was given to support The Woodstock Academy’s vision. The gift, committed in honor of her late husband, August “Gus” Loos, was a way to further honor her husband and their company while securing arts opportunities for thousands of students and community members for years to come. This resulted in the renaming of the fine arts facility to Loos Center for the Arts.

The gift was split for two purposes. First, it allowed Loos Center for the Arts to update the infrastructure within the facility; replacing the rigging, lighting, sound systems, and more. Second, it established a restricted endowment to contribute directly to programming and capital needs within the facility.

Giving to Loos Center for the Arts supports our mission by providing funding for relevant, equitable, accessible, diverse, and inclusive programming opportunities, as well as offsetting facility operation, staffing, and equipment costs. As Loos Center for the Arts grows, the opportunities afforded will increase each year, continually enhancing the excellent offerings available for our region and beyond. HOUSE INFORMATION

The HOUSE MANAGER is stationed in the atrium. If you need assistance during the performance, please ask an usher for the House Manager; someone will assist you promptly.

LATE ARRIVALS: Loos Center for the Arts events start promptly at their advertised time. Visitors who arrive after the start of the performance may be asked to hold in the atrium until an appropriate time for venue doors to re-open to minimize interruptions to the performance and other visitors.

CELL PHONES must be on silent mode or turned off for the duration of the performance, except for use of the Sennheiser MobileConnect app (Assisted Listening). Taking photos or recordings of a live performance is strictly prohibited.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: Generally, performances are not canceled due to inclement weather. If severe weather conditions force a change to schedule, patrons with tickets will be contacted by email & text message (if opted in). Changes to any events will also be posted on theloos.org.

CONCESSIONS may not be brought into the theater during this event and should only be consumed in the atrium. Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Visit our concessions location(s) in the atrium before the event and during intermission. Loos Center for the Arts accepts all major credit card and cash at concessions.

SMOKING or VAPING is not allowed anywhere on the property.

LOST AND FOUND items found after an event will be available for pickup for up to 7 days after a performance. Please contact boxoffice@theloos.org as soon as you realize an item may be lost to arrange a pickup.

ACCESSIBLE AND COMPANION SEATING can be purchased online at theloos.org or by calling the box office at (860) 963-6789

PARKING behind the venue is limited; available on a first-come, first-served basis to those who have purchased a premium ticket to an event or visitors with a disability parking permit. Additional parking is available, free of charge, across the street.

RESTROOMS are fully accessible and are in the Atrium.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES are available free of charge. Patrons can download the Sennheiser MobileConnect application on their personal smart device or can borrow a compatible receiver from Loos Center for the Arts in the Atrium by asking for the House Manager. A driver’s license or credit card will be requested as a security deposit.

TICKETING POLICIES

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS are available on our website, by phone, or at the venue box office, open two hours before each event’s start time (while tickets last). Loos Center for the Arts accepts all major credit cards, cash, and Loos Center for the Arts gift certificates.

GROUP RATE TICKETS for groups of 10 or more may be available on an event-by-event basis. Discounts are only eligible for orders completed in one transaction, for the same event. Group rate tickets, if available for an event, will be published on the events listing and available on our website or by phone. Group rates are not available for walk-up sales.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES are unavailable for tickets purchased to Loos Center for the Arts events. If an order was accidentally placed, contact the Box Office within 24 hours of your order completion to request an order credit. All credits will be issued via gift certificate, excluding service fees, which will not be refunded nor credited. Exchanges to new dates or seats within a single event series may be available for an additional service charge. Group rate tickets cannot be exchanged.

SERVICE FEES are applied on all Loos Center for the Arts tickets, regardless of purchase method (web, phone, and box office). Ticket service fees cover the ticketing provider’s “license” to use their system. The fee is based on the face value of each ticket. The ticket’s face value is split between us (the venue) and the artist/talent by a set percentage. Loos Center does not “profit” from service fees.

GOLDEN CENTAUR alumna/us of The Woodstock Academy who graduated 50+ years ago, who have received a golden centaur card from the alumni & advancement office, are eligible to receive two (2) complimentary tickets to all events produced by The Woodstock Academy (excludes mainstage Loos Center for the Arts events). Visit our website, reach us by phone, or visit the box office to redeem. Proof of a golden centaur card is required for at-door/walk-up sales.

GIFT CERTIFICATES are available for purchase in any denomination from $10.00-$1,000.00 on theloos.org, by phone, or at the venue box office. Certificates are issued electronically and may be printed on a personal printer.

CHILDREN’S POLICY: Children under the age of four are not permitted at Loos Center for the Arts events unless the performance is a designated family/children’s show. WHO’S WHO

DAVID ABBAMONTE is an 11th Grader who is very excited to be in his first WA Musical! This is David’s second time in TheAddamsFamily, as he played The Sailor in The Bradley Playhouse’s production last year. He also performs with The Complex Performing and Creative Arts Centre, with recent roles including an Ensemble Member in SpongeBoband General Schmitz in Seussical. David wants to thank his family and friends for being very supportive and hope that they enjoy the show!

BEN ARTERS is a 10th grader from Brooklyn, and this is his first performance at The Woodstock Academy! Ben is no stranger to theater, having played roles in AChristmasStory,Shrek,and Frozen. Ben thanks his family and friends for their endless support!

NATALIE BORGES is a 10th grader at The Woodstock Academy, and is very excited to be in this years musical! Good luck to all cast and crew!

CAROLINE COSTA is 9th grader at The Woodstock Academy this year. She has been dancing for 12 years at her home studio and enjoys performing on the WA Fusion Dance Team. This year she was selected as a featured dancer and I would like to thank all of the cast and crew that helped put this experience together. Enjoy the show!!

EMMA COSTA is an 11th grader from Brooklyn, and this is their third performance at The Woodstock Academy. Georgie is no stranger to the theatre, having played roles in BeautyandtheBeast and Mean Girls at WA along with several middle school performances. Emma thanks their parents and siblings for running lines and listening to songs from AddamsFamily for the past few months. Also, an extra special thanks to the directorial team for their creativity, coaching and endless patience.

NATE COUTURE is a sophomore and a newcomer to WA’s Theater Department. He previously showcased his musical talent in the ensemble of Aladdin at Woodstock Middle School. Engaging in Hill Singers, Symphonic Band, and Chorale, he demonstrates a commitment to the arts. Nate is a member of the Tri-M National Music Honor Society. Beyond music, Nate is a multitasking athlete, contributing to the varsity soccer and JV basketball teams at WA. His dedication extends to the soccer community, where he works as a referee. Nate would like to thank his parents and the directors for their support and encouragement.

RAYNE DELFARNO is a 10th grader from Pomfret and this is her first performance at The Woodstock Academy. She is a stranger to theatre, and would like to thank her friends Olivia and Kaylee for introducing her to theater and her favorite show for showing my what it means to act.

GIANNA DICOLA-KEDDY

is a 10th grader from Brooklyn, and this is their first performance at The Woodstock Academy. Gianna is no stranger to the theatre, having played roles in TheAddamsFamily, WizardofOz Jr, and Mulan. Gianna thanks her parents and friends for listening to songs from TheAddamsFamilyfor the past few months. Also, a thank you to the directorial team for their creativity, coaching, and patience. Good luck to the rest of the cast and crew.

SAM ESPESETH is an 11th grader this year and has participated every year of their high school experience. They want to go to college for musical theatre and loves being apart of the WAMD. They would like to thank their family and friends for believing in them through all the dark times.

CHLOE FAUCHER is 10 years old and attends Mary R. Fisher Elementary in Thompson, CT. She has been dancing at Artistry Dance Center for 8 years, and competitively for the past 4. Her favorite style of dance is Jazz. Chloe lives in Thompson with her Mom, Dad, and Brother. When she is not busy dancing, Chloe enjoys arts and crafts, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. Chloe is very excited to be joining the cast of the Addams Family, and exploring different avenues of dance. She looks forward to continuing her dance education in the years to come and one day wants to dance for Disney.

CAMPBELL FRASER is in her senior year at The Woodstock Academy and she couldn’t be happier than spending it with the AdamsFamilycast!! She would like to thank everyone who helped to make this show happen including Ms. Ranta, Mrs. Churchill, and Mrs. Depres. She would also like to thank her family for supporting her and for the wonderful tech team and stage crew!! Thank you for coming to the show and remember we are all a little Adams!

JUDAH GAGNON is enjoying being part of his first musical. He has done chorus for 2 years and is a part of The Woodstock Academy Hill Singers. He is thankful to be able to do this.

AVERY GRANT is a 9th grader at The Woodstock Academy. She enjoys singing, theater, band and volleyball. Her prior show experience is The LittleMermaidat Woodstock Middle School. She loved working with the cast and learning choreography.

MARISSA GRIECO is a 9th grader and this is her first show at The Woodstock Academy. She enjoys swimming.

SOPHIA HERNANDEZ is a 12th grader from Woodstock and this is her first performance at The Woodstock Academy. While she is no stranger to performing, as she has been dancing for 14 years, she is excited take the stage with her fellow AddamsFamilycast members. She would like to thank everyone who help make this show happen including the directors, cast, tech team, and crew. AVERY KUCHY is an 11th grader from Pomfret. Avery is grateful for the experience to be in this year’s production of TheAddamsFamily, and thanks the directorial team for their dedication and support!

ELIZABETH LADZINSKI is a 10th grader from Brooklyn and this is their second performance with The Academy. Elizabeth has been involved in several musicals such as IntoTheWoodsand MeanGirls.Elizabeth wants to say good luck to the cast and crew of AddamsFamily!!

SARA MACRI was born in Italy but grew up in Brazil, and it’s an honor for her to be participating in the play TheAddamsFamilyas an ensemble dancer. She has always loved dancing, and is very happy to have the chance to be included and to meet new people, experiencing new things.

MAGGIE MCHUGH is an 11th grader from Woodstock and this is her first performance at The Woodstock Academy. She has been apart of the stage crew for many shows, including the 2022 show of Beauty and the Beast. She was also a member of the cast in last years Mean Girls. She thanks her friends for enduring her constant listening of the Addams Family soundtrack in the car, and her family for supporting her when she’s always busy with rehearsal. She also gives many thanks to her directors and fellow cast members for all of the work they have put in to producing this amazing show. Good luck to everyone!

LILY MERCIER is a 10th grader from Woodstock, and is thrilled to be in her second show with WA. Since she started studying at The Complex Performing and Creative Arts Center at the age of two, her passion for the arts has continued to grow, and she is extremely grateful for all of the opportunities she has had. Her past performance credits include Regina George- MeanGirls, Sharpay Evans- HighSchoolMusical, Ms. Honey- Matilda Jr., and many other dance and theatre performances. Lily wants to thank her family and teachers for their endless support and the directorial team of TheAddamsFamily for giving her this amazing opportunity.

SOPHIA MILARDO is an 11th grader from Pomfret and this is her 3rd musical with The Woodstock Academy. Her passion for dance began at a very young age and she’s been performing for 14 years. She loves being on stage and sharing her love for dance with everyone around her. Sophia has loved having another opportunity to be apart of a Woodstock Academy production, and she thanks the whole directorial team, especially Ms. Canty for making AddamsFamily another positive and exciting show experience.

CAYLEE MORRISON is a 9th grader from Brooklyn. She’s no stranger to the stage having completed in dance for the past 8 years, but this is her first musical debut! Caylee is on the WA Fusion Dance Team and is also on the WA field hockey team. She would like to thank her parents for being supportive, the cast for being so welcoming and Ms Canty for putting in the time to choreograph.

EMILY MUMFORD has been in 3 musicals and TheAddamsFamilywill be her fourth. She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her in every play she has participated in and helping her with anything she needs.

GIULIA MUSUMECI is a 10th grader this year, and she is so excited to be back on the WA stage in TheAddamsFamily! Outside of theater, Giulia is in Jazz Band, Hill Singers, as well as the Tri-M Music Honors Society. Giulia would like to thank here friends and family for always showing up to support her in her theatrical endeavors!

EVONY N’CHONON is a 9th grader and is so excited for the opportunity to be in this show! Though this is her first show at The Woodstock Academy, she has been participating in theater for the last seven years. Recently she has been in a production of TheSpongeBobMusical with The Complex and TheAddamsFamily with The Bradley Playhouse. She would like to thank her family for their support and the rest of the cast for making this such a fun experience.

MARY OLIINYK is 15 years old and comes from Ukraine. This is her first year in the USA, and is a 10th grader at The Woodstock Academy. Maria has been dancing for 10 years and has been learning contemporary and modern dance. She enjoys dancing at WA with her coach, Ms. Canty. Additionally, she enjoys being part of the WA Fusion Dance Team.

EVAN RHAULT is a 12th grader and this is his first performance at The Woodstock Academy. While it’s his first experience with singing, he has had plenty of “acting” experience with 8 years of public speaking. He is the leader of the Model UN team and the Co-Founder of the Debate Club. He’d like to give a big thank you to his friends and family for having my back and thanks to Sadie for making him try out.

KYRIALIS RIVERA-CABRERA is a sophomore, and this is her first time performing with The Woodstock Academy. She has spent most of her life dancing, having started when she was only 5 years old. Her love of theater has led her to join the musical, and she is thankful for the support that comes from her friends and family that led her here.

APOLLO RUOPPO is so excited to be performing as Alice in The Addams Family! Recent performances include The Cat in the Hat in Suessical at The Complex Performing Arts Centre, as well as many other performances throughout the years. She is over the moon to be in her first Woodstock Academy show in her senior year and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

JORDAN SANDS is a 12th grader from Brooklyn, and this is her second performance with The Academy with her first being MeanGirls.She would like to thank her family for their continual support. She would also like to thank the directorial team for an amazing senior year performance. Good luck to the rest of the cast!

KAYLEE SPRING is an 11th grader at The Woodstock Academy from Brooklyn. This is her second performance at The Academy. She thanks her grandparents and her parents for helping her get to where she is now. They’ve been her biggest inspiration since elementary school, she wouldn’t be where she is now without them. And a huge thank you to the directoral team for getting this show together.

ELI SUSI is an 11th grader and is in his second musical production at The Woodstock Academy. Eli is not new to theater. He has played the Genie in Aladdin, Troy in HighSchoolMusical, A Delancy Brother in Newsies, and Kristof in Frozen. Eli also plays varsity soccer an loves being the goalie. He also enjoys Chorale and Symphonic Band at WA.

MICHAEL SUSI is an 11th grader at WA and is in his second Musical at The Academy. Last year he played Damon in MeanGirls. This year, he is playing Uncle Fester. Michael has enjoyed being part of theater for a long time. He was Troy in HighSchoolMusical, Aladdin in Aladdin, Big Dave in BillyEllio t and a Delancy Brother in Newsies. He also enjoyed being in MaMaMia, Anything Goes and many other favorites. Michael enjoys playing soccer and track. He is also in Chorale and Hill-singers. He is also the Vice President for Student Council. Last year, Michael enjoyed sing at Carnagie Hall as a part of the international performance choir.

HELEN TELFORD is a 10th grader at The Woodstock Academy. She has previously performed in The Academy’s productions of Mean Girls and Our Town. She is so grateful to all of the adults who have made this production possible, and she wishes the best to all her cast mates and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

MARII URSAL is an 11th grader at The Woodstock Academy, and it’s her first year in the U.S. She hails from Ukraine, where she’s been practicing various dance styles since she was 4. For the last 4 years she has been doing Ballroom and Latin dancing professionally and participating different competitions. She is very excited to perform in her first show here and wants to say thank you to her amazing coach Ms. Canty.

MADISON WILLIAMS Madison Williams is 12th grader at WA from Putnam. Madison is in the music department at The Woodstock Academy and was in MeanGirlslast year. Madison would like to thank her parents and sibling for always being there for her and supporting her. She appreciates and is thankful for everything they have done for her. Thank you everyone who helped to make this an amazing production! Good luck to the cast and crew!

SADIE WOOD Sadie Wood is a 10th grader from Woodstock, this being her second show at The Woodstock Academy. She has been involved in music all of her life, and she began theatre in 7th grade. She has been in a number of musicals, including WA’s MeanGirls, playing Janis. She takes voice lessons with Meredith Ziegler at UConn and thanks her along with past voice teachers for helping her get to where she is now. She thanks all of her family, friends, and teachers for providing her with this opportunity and for supporting her along the way.
