Giovanna “Gigi” Mondavi, 4th Generation Co-Proprietress Much like the rest of her family, Giovanna Mondavi (Gigi) has wine in her blood. The youngest daughter of Marc & Janice Mondavi, she began working in the laboratory in her family’s winery at age 10, and spent every summer learning the wine trade alongside her three older sisters. She ventured away from Napa during her high school years to Vancouver Island, BC and is a ‘15 graduate from D’Amore McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. As co-proprietress and 4th generation, during COVID-19 she took the opportunity to move back to the Charles Krug Winery for 18 months to re-engage with her roots and take advantage of not actively traveling for her job. She spent those 18 months actively present in the tasting rooms hosting tastings, virtual tastings, shadowing vineyard and cellar production, and develop a deeper appreciation and understanding to the commitment to continuing a 100 year family legacy.

She recently made the move from Boston, MA after a decade to her current residence in Scottsdale, AZ. Although she is busy working as a Retirement Specialist for MFS Investments, covering 16 states. The o hours that she is not engaged for her full-time job, she is representing C. Mondavi & Family out in the marketplace during the evening and weekends. Her passion to educate and represent her family legacy is achieved through one story and one hand-shake at a time, and always with a glass in hand.

Pop Up Wine Tasting
POOL NEWS Worcester Country Club is offering campers and all members swim lessons and swim team access M-F 8am-9am at the pool prior to camp start at 9am. Swim lessons are $50.00/week/student. Swim team begins 6/20/2022 and runs a full 8 weeks through 8/12/22. The cost is $270.00/members or $320.00/members guest. We are working towards having competitions for all team members like last season. We look forward to building important swimming skills for our members and their guests!
IT ONLY TAKES A MOMENT! A child or weak swimmer can drown in the time it takes to reply to a text, check a fishing line or apply sunscreen - in as little as an inch of water. Worcester Country Club believes that by working together to improve water competency through swimming skills that water activities can be safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
