BARREL AGED COCKTAILS from the WCC Bar

Barrel aging is a way of maturing and enhancing flavor, blending perfectly over a period of time. Essentially, barrel aging a cocktail does the same thing as aging a spirit, wine or beer. It tames the harsher aspects and rounds out the flavors, creating a more cohesive drink. The bar at WCC now has it's own fresh charred American oak barrel for aging cocktails! The barrel has been prepped and now holds our first cocktail, a classic rye Manhattan, that will now age for a number of weeks. With each cocktail aged in the barrel, notes from the previous can shine through, giving each libation a new, unique layer to enjoy. Now, we patiently wait for our first creation to age in barrel! CAMP WCC Weekly Sessions June 21 - August 13 Ages 5 - 11 Monday - Friday Half Day, 9am - 12:30 Full Day, 9am - 3:30pm Before-Care (8:30am) . After-Care (4pm)

Weekly Tuition for Club Members: Half Day, $205 Full Day, $275 On April 1, enrollment will also open to Guests: Half Day, $245 . Full Day, $300 A one-time non-refundable $40 registration fee includes two camp t-shirts. Camp will be closed the week of July 26.
