WORCESTER CC WEEKLY Club Food & Beverage Minimum Change
Dear WCC Member, In an effort to provide the finest quality and service in our Dining venues, we are announcing a change to the expiration date for F&B minimum usage. Members whose last name begin with the letter A through L will have an expiration date on the 15th of each month. Members whose last name begin with the letter M through Z expiration date will remain at the end of the month. To start the new period, letters A – L will have a total of $187.50 to use by April 15th. Beginning April 16th, the minimum will return to $125.00. The Club’s Dining venues are seeing more usage thanks to Chef Craig Cobb and his kitchen staff. The new menu and food quality has been well received and we anticipate usage to continue to increase. By splitting the expiration date, we hope to avoid the big rush at the end of the month and create an even distribution of usage throughout the month. The rain dates are June 23rd & June 30th. There is no Twilite on Tuesday, 4/21, as the course undergoes aerification. Where : Worcester Country Club Clubhouse/ Grille Room When: Saturday, March 14th 10:00AM - 11:30AM Hosted By: Allan Belden, PGA Head Golf Professional Guest Presenter: Steve Dozois, LMT Worcester Fitness Assisted Stretching Specialist Topic: This interactive seminar will share ideas on how you can best prepare your body, and more specifically, your back for the upcoming golf season. All too often we see injuries occur as players rush to the first tee with excitement after spending the winter being inactive. In this seminar we will share with you ways you can prevent injury and optimize your golf game by making sure that you and your body are both ready to swing a golf club. The cost is free and we encourage members to bring guests as well. Please wear comfortable clothing if you would like to be an active participant.

World Handicap System Seminar Please join us for the World Handicap System Seminar on Thursday, April 9th in the Clubhouse beginning at 5:30 PM.
We will be discussing how the changes to the handicapping system will impact your handicap for the 2020 golf season including: - how the new handicap system works - GHIN mobile application - handicaps used for club tournaments Please register using the website or the mobile app.
