“A big WELCOME and enjoy”

The history of Newbury dates back to the 11th century and the Norman conquests, though there is evidence of earlier settlement. There are a variety of architectural styles including a medieval Cloth Hall in the market square with half-timbered granary, a 15th-century church, and a number of 17th- and 18th-century listed buildings. In more recent years, Newbury has become a centre for technology.

There are a variety of housing types in the Newbury area to suit all types of house buyer: town and country properties, large and small, and everything in between. The town of Newbury itself and its surrounding villages of West Berkshire, North Hampshire and South Oxfordshire are very popular with commuters and families alike as the road and rail links are excellent. As well as listed terraced homes and townhouses in the town centre, there are high specification modern developments such as near the Racecourse and overlooking the Avon & Kennet Canal.
