Tell us a little about the background to your business? We come from a family of floor fitters and planners , combining that with years of business and management and software engineering has empowered our skills in terms of planning and design. We started off as fitters and installers and then moved to planning and sales , thus giving us the knowledge of every aspect of the trade .

How would you describe the current tastes and trends in flooring? Flooring trends have changed throughout the years. Homeowners acquire new tastes as changing technologies allows a larger variety of flooring designs. In terms of carpets , Taupe Colours from Wool , Wool Mix and man made carpets , Stair runners from flat weave and sisal runners , in terms of Flooring , Modern Grey wood Floors , Concrete tiles , White Lined Porcelain . Can and will make an instant statement to your house .

What do you think makes AHK Flooring stand out as a leading supplier? We think outside the box and endeavour to find a solution for our customers flooring needs . We don’t let any obstacle stand between our customers and the floors they desire to have . We believe there is always a way to implement any design no matter how complex it can get .

Is there a project you are most proud of? We are proud of every project we take whether it is a big or small project . The ones that tend to help people with special needs are the dearest to our hearts . Once we had to go out of our way to install vinyl floor on top of underlay to create a floor that absorbs drop impacts. This hasn’t been done before. The result was amazing and we have managed to solve a very critical problem .

What do you enjoy most about your job? Meeting new people every day, we like the interior design part of it , we also like the fact that we provide the final touch for every home improvement, as flooring specialists, we are aware that having the suitable floor covering can reflect a significant difference in home interior appearance. Also we love the look on our customers’ faces once we have finished a job, especially when they leave us positive feedback and recommendations . One thing that we are very proud of is that 70%80% of our work is recommendations .
