Who or what have been your major influences and role models?

My biggest role model was ZAHA Hadid (architect). She was known for her innovative and unconventional deconstructionist designs architecturally. Her work pushed boundaries of architecture, creating visually striking and thought-provoking structures.

Inspirations also comes from travel, home shows, furniture galleries and social media to further elaborate on “outside the box” designs.

In developing a style for a client’s property who takes the lead or is it a collaborative effort?

Dynamic collaboration between the role of an Architect and Head Interior Designer takes the lead role in our client’s projects. Architect role is the overall design, functionality and meeting compliance with building regulations whereas our Interior Designers role is in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional internal spaces aspect of various finishes, colour scheme, flooring and layout design and ensuring each room is purposely designed.

Our designers pay special attention to detail, driven by a deeper understanding of the client’s requirements that align with their vision. This collaborative approach insures a comprehensive and wellrounded design.

Is there a project that you are most proud of?

MODERNO Interiors significant achievement was with our first major commission, the luxurious London home - ‘Linksway’. This was most recently featured in Crazy Rich Agents show aired on BBC 2. Our recognition was through various awards and media coverage highlights the excellence of our work. This approach of designing beyond aesthetics, incorporating elements like texture, light and sound to shape experiences speaks to us committing to create a more meaningful environment. This design philosophy helped clients to achieve their aspirations and values, making their living spaces a daily refection of their true selves.
