KIOSK DESIGN

Toronto is blessed to have a pretty thriving design scene and as the largest metropolitan centre in Canada, it’s fair to say that Toronto is the design capital of the county as well. Our list is a compilation of stores we visit frequently and stores that inspire us. From the megaretailers to the independent neighbourhood shops, great design comes in all sorts of packages and price points. While this list is by no means exhaustive due to how many excellent furniture store choices we have to choose from, we kept it compact, like the apartments so many of us live in. CovetED presents to you our top furniture stores in Toronto in 2020, in no particular order

AVENUE ROAD

Kiosk began in 1994, in a small space along a narrow alleyway in midtown Toronto. Open to the Trade only and offering a curated selection of quality chairs and stools, Kiosk quickly became the go-to destination for a new generation of young innovative restaurant owners looking for furnishings that offered great value-added design and a competitive edge in Toronto and across Canada.

DESIGN WITHIN REACH

Housed behind the unassuming brick façade of a former Consumers Gas Company warehouse, AVENUE ROAD’s Toronto flagship is both awe-inspiring and intimate. The 15,000 square foot (1,400 square meters) space offers a constantly evolving trove of design inspiration over three levels. Home to Obumex bespoke kitchen, The Rug Company and an extensive display of Tribu outdoor furniture and USM Modular Furniture, our flagship presents the full breadth of our product offering – a complete expression of the brand’s Total Concept approach.

Design Within Reach offers the world’s largest selection of authentic modern furniture, lighting, and accessories from designers past and present.
