T-DRILL tube and pipe fab equipment
T-DRILL is a worldwide supplier of tube and pipe fabricating equipment. We have supplied branching and fl anging equipment to the pipe shops of most of the major shipbuilding and off -shore companies in the world. This list includes names like Fincantieri, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Newport News Shipbuilding, HDW (ThussenKrupp) NASSCO, Thyssen Nordseewerke and Swan & Hunter.
Our unique processes are recognized by the major maritime Approval Societies for use in many of the piping systems found on ships and platforms. “Delta” style stainless steel workboat props
One of our most successful and popular propeller designs for inland river service is the Kahlenberg “Delta” style propeller, with blade area maximized at the blade tips. Recently more popular again with variations from many manufacturers, this is a design we have been producing for more than 50 years. and manufacturing technology available in the industry.
Using a combination of state of the art predictive software and previous experience, Kahlenberg confi dently specifi es a propeller with the geometric properties best suited for your application. Hydrocomp Prop Expert sizing software and PropCad software are utilized in the design process.
From the design phase the original geometric data is exported to 3D modeling software, where it is refi ned and output to 3D Printing software, for creation of 3D Printed patterns. These printed patterns are then used for accurate molding of the propeller at the foundry. This new process results in a casting far more accurate as compared to the traditional techniques of the past.

What is GORDHEAD?
What is GORDHEAD? In my opinion the best way to manage your projects. I see companies hiring layer upon layer of highly paid planners/schedulers/ EVMS specialist etc. to track a company’s progress or schedule. Entire departments are developed to find out the status of construction and when it will be completed and what it will ultimately cost to complete. Meeting and staying on schedule is the “only” thing that really matters when it comes to cost savings and customer satisfaction. If everyone is seriously focused on schedule all day everyday then everyone will also be focused each day on the hundreds or thousands of tasks that need to get done, questions that need to be answered, design elements that need to be delivered, testing that needs to witnessed, materials that need to ordered, I could go on and on. Anyone who has had to meet a schedule understands what a formidable task it is to remain on schedule. It can also be incredibly difficult to judge the schedules accuracy. Silos are developed within a company and exchanging this vital information can be grueling. That is where GORDHEAD comes in to make this easier and transparent. The above is just a brief example of items that can be resolved when your company is “Powered by GORDHEAD” Why keep struggling with lack of communication, lack of information sharing and lack of accountability? Sea Machines autonomous vessel circles Denmark
Sea Machines recently circumnavigated Denmark on a multiweek 1,000 nautical mile remotely commanded commercial voyage.
Sea Machines Robotics, the leading developer of autonomous command and control systems for the maritime industry, embarked on a 1,000 nautical mile autonomous and remotely commanded journey around Denmark in September. Aptly named The Machine Odyssey, the voyage marks a landfall moment for autonomous transportation and is slated to prove that the world’s waterways are primed and ready for longrange autonomy.
The Machine Odyssey departed from Hamburg, Germany, on Sept. 30, with full onboard vessel control managed by autonomous technology, while operating under the authority of commanding officers located in the United States.
This voyage will prove to the world, and specifically to the thousands of global companies that operate the fleets of cargo ships, tugs, ferries and the many other types of commercial workboats, that operators can integrate autonomous technology into their vessel operations for a host of technology-driven benefits, from enhanced safety and reliability to leaps in productivity and new on-water capabilities. The Machine Odyssey marks a new era in the human-technology relationship propelling on-sea operations in the 21st century. my system, which utilized the latest in Sea Machines’ industry-leading, long-range computer vision. The SM300 is a comprehensive sensor-to-propeller autonomy system that uses advanced path-planning, obstacle avoidance replanning, vectored nautical chart data and dynamic domain perception, all to control a voyage from start to finish. The SM300 provides the remote human commanders with an active chart environment with live augmented overlays showing the mission, state of vessel, situational awareness and environmental data, as well as real-time, vessel-born audio and video from many streaming cameras.
