Small Business Advice – How To Grow Your Business We are all in business to make money; anyone who says differently probably has too much money. For someone who is starting out with a new business venture it is always a good idea to seek out SMALL BUSINESS ADVICE and learn some basic fundamentals. It’s not easy starting a new business and there will be many trying times ahead. Some of the best small business advice I ever got was to watch out for warning signs when things start to get tough: 

You’re uninspired.

You fight the clock from the moment your feet hit the ground in the morning.

You snap at your kids. Your spouse. Your employees.

You compromise on other areas of your life and tell yourself, “I’ll get to that later” hoping later eventually comes.

If you can relate to any of these you need to reassess your situation. You are probably finding that your head is racing at 100 miles an hour and that you can think of very little else except your business. The best small business advice I can offer about this is to try and reassess your business. You only have a certain amount of time each day to achieve your goals. You must realise that you will never clean your to do list each day and that you need to make time for other priorities. I have often had to stop myself and refocus on some of the other aspects of my life. Don’t forget your family and make time for yourself, gym for example is a key ingredient in keeping a healthy balance.

Small Business Advice It’s vitally important that we learn from the small business advice offered by various gurus like Robert Kiyosaki, Richard Branson and Donald Trump. Reading and self-educating is a big part of any business and by understanding how the people that ‘have been there and done that’ have achieved what they have we can apply the same to our business. The most important small business advice however in my opinion is to understand the key ingredients of networking. Networking in my opinion is the lifeblood of any business and how you build relationships and communicate with people will go a long way in achieving financial success.

Here Are My Eight Key Small Business Advice Criteria For Networking:

1: People don’t join businesses, they partner up with people they like and that can help them achieve their goals. 2: People are drawn to those that they feel have a solution to their problem 3: The biggest turn off for others is when they know someone is trying to use them to make a sale 4: Always try to consider someone else’s needs before pushing yours 5: You have to give before you get, and in your giving you must prove why you’re worthy of following 6: Remember you earn Trust – if someone trusts you they will consider following you 7: Don’t ‘fake it till you make it’, people are not stupid and will lose respect for you if they ever considered they were mislead 8: Always give value – the value in what you sell should be worth more than the product

Small Business Advice For me, the most important skill I am developing is my people skills and positioning. This goes hand in hand with networking. My brand, Work With Gordon, is all about building relationships with people, offering them SMALL BUSINESS ADVISE and selling them products that will add great value to their businesses. I have no problem selling somebody I product that I know will make them money and/or help improve their business. Together we can achieve more,
