Ho ste d by Albe rta Innovate s, this event will pro file key fe ature s o f Alberta’s successful pande mic response and the strate gies use d acro ss Canada to mo bilize supply chain te ams, clinicians, and co mmunitie s to re spond e ffe ctively to the COVID-19 pande mic. This in-pe rson mee ting will fo ste r co llabo ration, build cross-functional wo rking re lationships, and enable priority-se tting fo r six workgroups that will suppo rt supply chain capacity o f he alth care syste ms to de live r care safe ly, e ffe ctive ly, and e quitably for the be ne fit o f all Canadians. A spe cial pre sentation will e quip participants with a lens on e quity, dive rsity, and inclusion so that strate gies and processes are de ve lo pe d with a citize n-ce ntre d appro ach. Key Objectives
Engage Community of Practice partners in dialogue to examine the opportunities to advance key features of supply chain resilience in Canadian health systems
Explore terms of reference and strategic plan to establish workgroups and confirm meeting schedule to advance dialogue towards drafting a workplan
Examine principles of equity, diversity and inclusion relevant to health supply chain capacity to support equity across Canadian Health systems
