The marvellous village of Mariakirchen and its moated castle are situated only a one-hour drive from the Munich Airport. The castle was built in 1550, over the centuries, the building´s condition deteriorated enormously, until it was extensively renovated along with the former stables in 2003. The Schlossbräu Marakirchen came into existence, including an in-house brewery and a cozy beergarden.

The four-star Schlossparkhotel and its modern glass facade dives deep into the surrounding castle park, creating a fascinating contrast to the historic ambience. The castle offers conference rooms for groups from 2-250 people with modern equipment in historic ambience. They will happily organize the framework programme of your events.

The sauna facility, the Schlossbräu and the quiet of the Kollbach valley are excellent for a few restful days as a couple – without the need to experience anything spectacular. The romantic garden house, which was built in 1810, features a glazed corridor that connects to the hotel and the Hofwirt. All 55 rooms of the hotel are characterized by a distinct geometrical design, warm colours and natural materials.
