HELPFUL HINTS SAVE MONEY Order early to take advantage of advance order discount rates, place your order by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2009. AVOID DELAY Ship early to avoid delays. Shipments arriving late at show site will cost you money, time and business! SAFETY TIPS Use a ladder, not a chair. Standing on chairs, tables and other rental furniture is unsafe and can cause injury to you or to others. These objects are not designed to support your standing weight. Be aware of your surroundings. You are in an active work area with changing conditions during move-in and move-out. Pay attention. Look for obstacles, machinery and equipment that are in use. Keep your eyes open for scooters and forklifts. The drivers of these vehicles may not be able to see you. Stay clear of dock areas, trucks and trailers. These areas can be particularly dangerous. Prevent electrical shocks, falling items and damage to materials. Do not attach items or equipment to the drapes or metal framework provided for your booth. This can cause serious injury or damage to materials. You are not allowed to ship Hazardous Materials. If you do so, you will be in violation of federal law, and may be subject to civil penalties of not more than $27,000 for each offense. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING BOOTH CARPET WORLD OF CONCRETE CARPET OPTIONS DEADLINE: DECEMBER 30, 2009 Booth carpeting is not provided; however, floor covering is required. You must either bring your own floor covering or rent from Freeman using one of the options below: Option I:
In-Line Booths Order a 9’ x 10’ Classic Carpet in any of our nine standard colors at the rate of $115.50 each before the deadline date; $150.15 each after the deadline date. NOTE: Linear booth carpet is 9’ wide.
Option II: Island Booths Only Order our Custom Cut Classic Carpet in any of our nine standard colors at the rate of $1.25 / sq ft before deadline, $2.50 / sq ft after deadline. NOTE: Custom Cut Carpet is available only in 10’ increments (for example: 20’ x 20’, 20’ x 30’). Option III: Exhibitors have the option of ordering upgraded carpet from the order form at the fee listed. Option IV: Exhibitors have the option of using their own carpet. Exhibitors then have the option of installing their own carpet or ordering installation labor from Freeman by using the order form.
Remember: regardless of the option chosen, the order form must be completed and returned to Freeman no later than DECEMBER 30, 2009.
