REFRESH & REVITALIZE Springs Ginnie

Brace yourself, nature lovers! Even if you’ve felt the Florida summer heat, you will discover no cold shower can compete once you swim in the state’s freshwater springs. The water is clear but it is chilly, especially in comparison to the bathtub of the ocean you may be used to swimming in at the beach. Immerse yourself in, then emerge from the southern side of the Santa Fe River — your body refreshed and your spirit revitalized.

You can rent a canoe, kayak, or paddle board, if that’s your style. For lazy adventurers, or those on a budget, tubing is an affordable alternative. What are you waiting for when there are limestone caverns to explore?

There are also campgrounds for overnighters with water and electricity, plus plenty of updated outdoor facilities, including (but not limited to): picnic tables, grills, bathhouses, laundry services, covered pavilions, a rental cottage, volleyball courts, and wifi internet access.

During the summer, the park is open from 8am to 7pm Monday through Thursday, 8am to 9pm Friday and Saturday, and 8am to 8pm on Sunday. Winter hours can be found on their website.
