Day 1

Fly to Quito

• Meet the Camps International staff. • Daily reflection and group discussion.

Day 2

Quito to Camp Donbiki

• Travel to Camp Donbiki. Learn about the community and project sites, then participate in a safety orientation. • Daily reflection and group discussion.

Day 3

Camp Donbiki

• Work on a Shiwakucha community project. • Participate in a student-focused discussion on leadership and its challenges.

Day 4

Camp Donbiki

• Work on a Shiwakucha community project. • Group discussion and evening activities.

Day 5

Camp Donbiki to Camp Chilli Urku

• Hit the jungle trail and trek to Camp Chilli Urku. • Participate in a community exchange and learn more about the community project. • Group discussion and interactive lecture.

Day 6

Camp Chilli Urku

• Work on a community project. • FInal discussion and reflection.

Days 7–8

Camp Chilli Urku to Quito

• Travel to Quito. • Explore Ecuador’s beautiful capital on a guided tour of Quito’s downtown. See Independence Plaza and Government Palace, and visit San Francisco Church and Mitad del Mundo. • Day 8: Return home and complete your online Global Perspectives course.
