A Brief Word From The Editor
With over 10 years in the industry, producing local community guides, relocation guides, maps, NATIONAL raceway tracks, high school sports posters, sports event memorable, and college sports schedules we know ADVERTISING!
With a long (emphasis on long) time in this industry, we searched for a more effective, and up to date way to get our readers our informational magazine. With all of the IPads, Kindles, Androids, and cellphones we searched high and low for a way to reach newmovers. The first idea was “we could produce books with information about a county and set up distribution points so new movers could find out the attractions, events, and also aware new-comers of local businesses, but wait how would that help customers that,
haven’t decided yet, or people that don’t pick up magazines like this, and what if we produce too many we would just be hurting the environment, so we came up for away to solve all of those problems. On-line Guides! No extra waste, no extra liter!, also in this day and age how much is actually done in hard copy anymore, newspapers are digital, and people like the idea of being able to take media like this with them so they can take it anywhere and read it at their leisure, and it’s kinda hard to lose this copy, because all of our publications are readable by all of the leading digital readers, tablets, and cell phones, if you have internet access then you have our magazine! We also do print hard copies for people that request them.

Moutain Home AFB Mountain Home Air Force Base (IATA: MUO, ICAO: KMUO, FAA LID: MUO) is a United States Air Force installation located in southwestern Idaho, United States. The base is in Elmore County, 12 mi (19 km) southwest of the city of Mountain Home, which is 40 mi (64 km) southeast of Boise, via Interstate 84. The host unit at Mountain Home since 1972 has been the 366th Fighter Wing (366 FW) of the Air Combat Command (ACC), nicknamed the “Gunfighters.” The base’s primary mission is to provide combat airpower and combat support capabilities to respond to and sustain worldwide contingency operations. Part of the base is a census-designated place (CDP); the population was 3,238 at the 2010 census. 1. History 1.
World War II
Crews started building the base in November 1942 and the new field officially opened on 7 August 1943. Shortly thereafter, airmen at the field began training U.S. Army Air Forces crews for World War II. The 396th Bombardment Group (Heavy) was the first unit assigned and its planned mission was to train crews for the B-17 Flying Fortress. However, before the first B-17s arrived, plans for the field changed and the 396th was transferred to Moses Lake AAF, Washington. Instead of training B-17 crews, Mountain Home airmen began training crews for the B-24 Liberator. The first group to do so was the 470th Bombardment Group (Heavy), which trained at Mountain Home from May 1943 until January 1944, when the unit moved to Tonopah AAF Nevada. The 490th Bombardment Group (Heavy) replaced the 470th and trained B-24 crews until it deployed to RAF Eye World Views Guides

England in April 1944. The 494th Bombardment Group then replaced the 490th, once more training Liberator crews. Senator George McGovern (1922–2012) was a pilot in the USAAF, and did his second stage of B-24 training here. McGovern served 24 years in both houses of Congress from South Dakota, and was the Democratic nominee in the presidential election of 1972. The base also received fighter aircraft to add realism to its training. A few P-38 Lightning and P-63 Kingcobra pursuit planes arrived in January 1945 to simulate attacks on B-24s. In June 1945, Mountain Home also briefly served as a training base for the new B-29 Superfortress with the 301st Bombardment Group (Very Heavy) training for combat, but the Japanese surrender in August brought a swift end to the new mission and, for a time, to the base at Mountain Home. The base was placed in inactive status in October 1945. 2.
Postwar era
The base remained inactive for over three years, until December 1948, when the newly independent U.S. Air Force reopened the base. The 4205th Air Base Group, was activated on 12 December to prepare the newly re-designated Mountain Home Air Force Base for operational use

Starting in March, the Nodes of Fate will move into your stars right before your birthday, preparing you for a new cycle focused on the ever-elusive balance between ‘self’ and ‘other’. You may feel you are still shedding old aspects of your personality that no longer serve you or your partnerships -- but the payoff is so worth it. You’re a true romantic at heart, ever in search of a truly beautiful and harmonious partnership, and this year just might be the year you get to truly live and experience this like never before. Speaking of love, another major bonus arrives just in time for summer when lucky Jupiter moves into your sector of romance and pleasure for a year.
Taurus:
2014 is the year of expansion, fulfilling work and stellar wellbeing, Taurus! If you’ve fallen prey to the typical Taurus legacy of neglecting your own needs and taking care of everyone else’s problems, this is the year to take your power and your life force back so that you can invest in a brand-new life. No, this does
not make you selfish or uncaring, this makes you true yourself and with a greater capacity to give to your loved ones because you will no longer be running on empty -- which is probably how you’ve felt over the past few years. You’ve certainly learned the art of releasing control in 2013. The good news is that the fog is finally about to lift as the South Node finally moves out of your stars this March. You’ve been letting go of so many things -- from material possessions to antiquated concepts around values and security. In fact, you’ve relinquished so much that you may barely recognize your life at this point, Taurus. You’ve certainly
learned to simplify your world in 2013, and now you’re getting ready to go rebuild towards greater beauty and harmony. The focus of 2014 is all about communication, work and daily ritual. If you’ve been promising yourself for eons that you’ll get your daily routine into better balance as in: more exercise, better sleep and less work, this is the year to make that happen.
Gemini: All of your hard
work is totally paying off in 2014, Gemini! The rewards started trickling in throughout 2013, but the real windfall of success is still

major transformation and rebirth, Pisces. You’re about to undertake such a massive personal renovation project that your inner world will never quite look or feel the same. Once summer comes you may have to choose and commit.
“Soon”
June 11, 2012 by Bob Bradshaw
The sky was never so lovely as that day we picnicked. The grieving were far away, in another pocket of the cemetery. A smudge hugging the ground was the widow. But where we were the air was fragrant with hibiscus. We laid out our lunch on a checkered cloth of reds and whites. My mother told me stories of my father. He was a shadow bending over her behind the church, his kisses more memorable than any sermon. There was a headstone leaning, as if a Mr. Sanders had grown restless in his sleep and rolled onto his side. There were children’s graves not much bigger than shoe boxes. And marble houses that looked like small libraries. And when I asked my mother when we would come here again she answered Soon. Previously published in Mannequin Envy.
