The new RDX3588 Rapid Deployment X-Ponder is a Lightweight Suitcase Repeater System designed specifically for rapid deployment applications. Weighing in at only 13.7kg the system has been crafted with 4 Primary attributes; Lightweight, Instant Communications, Independent Operation and System Interoperability. Designed to ensure simplified integration into most radio networks the RDX uses a 16-mode selector allows you to pre-define a variety of configurations to meet your local operational and interoperability needs. Available in Yellow or Black RDX3588 comes complete with an internal battery system that delivers 24hour operation at a hefty 30% Transmit duty cycle or 16hours at a 50% duty. Add to that the option of a Ultra heavy-duty 70AH back-up battery in its own matching case the DC powered life of the RDX3588 can be extended in repeat mode to over 7 days at a more typical 20% Tx Duty cycle. If that’s not enough there is an optional ruggedized Solar panel kit available providing full operation, in normal sunlight, even when the internal batteries are fully discharged. The Solar panels are especially designed to withstand the most demanding of installations, allowing the RDX to be charged and left for weeks, even months without the need for human intervention. It can be set up quickly with its three legs, or for rugged terrain or blustery wind conditions we provide all the necessary stainless steel stakes and guy ropes for a dependable remote installation. Finallly an optional 4.5 or 6 meter four section hand crafted Antenna Mast including high performance fixed antenna, low loss cabling and guy ropes is available to increase the coverage area and performance. Quite simply the RDX3588 is a complete Repeater System that "works when it must!"
