England Vs Argentina: England completes coaching team for

RWC 2023

England has completed the selection of scrum coach Tom Harrison, who will join the squad from Leicester Tigers on June 1. The statement of Harrison’s deal completes Steve Borthwick’s coaching team for the France Rugby World Cup, which kicks off in France later this year. Harrison is a junior coach at Leicester Tigers, leading scrum coaching. He started in their academy plan, before joining the first team training staff for the 2020/21 season.

Tony Roques also handed the role for RWC

Tony Roques, England men’s sevens head instructor, will also work with the squad as contact and skills coach during the training and drill camps. Roques signified his nation at England Sevens, before moving into training. He has worked with USA Rugby and Team GB at the 2021 Olympic Games. Roques also operated with the England squad ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

It is also established that Richard Wigglesworth will lead the attack training and kicking plan, while Kevin Sinfield will continue his work as protection coach. Wigglesworth will join up with England at the end of the Premiership season, together with Aled Walters who will be head of strength and training. Borthwick said I am very satisfied to confirm the England training team for the RWC.

Tom is an outstanding coach and will have a real impact in an area that will be fundamental to us as a team. Leicester’s scrum is famous across Europe and Tom has played a leading role in that feat. I have full sureness in him and I am very happy that he will be joining England. He added, Tony has a wide background in Sevens and is a skilled, specialist contact and skills trainer. Individual skill emphasis will be a vital part of our work.

Having worked alongside him in the 2019 movement, I know what a good trainer he is and he will contribute to the team. Richard has a verified track record as a player and a player-coach, and you can see what an excellent job he has done as head coach of Leicester Tigers in the past few months. He has played at Rugby World Cups and had coaching practice in 2019, and understands the exclusive demands of the contest and the support that players need.

The coaching team is now complete for France Rugby World Cup 2023

Along with Kevin and Aled, I am satisfied with the balance and wide range of experience that the training staff will have. As a group, we know each other well and we know the areas we will effort on to continue developing and building this team and be the best ready team that we can be. We know this RWC will be highly modest, but we are sincerely excited by what this group of trainers and players can attain in France.

Roques will keep the mistakes of the GB Sevens plan while working with the England men’s team. England’s first training camps will start in mid-June as they begin work ahead of the France Rugby World Cup. They will face Argentina, Japan, Chile and Samoa rugby teams in Group D. As part of their training, Borthwick’s side will take part in four Summer Series fixtures. Rugby fans can buy England Rugby World Cup Tickets at exclusively discounted prices.

England’s plan for Rugby World Cup 2023 could see them call up three new players

England Rugby World Cup team head coach, Steve Borthwick, has made it clear that he assumes players who were not part of the Six Nations team to prove themselves worthy of a place in his world cup plans. The team will begin their RWC campaign in France against Argentina in Marseille on

September 9th. Below are some players who were not tangled in the Six Nations but can strengthen England’s group.

Tom Pearson

The back-rower from London Irish has been in unsettled form for the Exiles this season, excelling in every feature of the game. Although Borthwick will have many choices in the back row, Pearson’s ability to play in all three places and his reliability in the lineouts make him a respected asset. Pearson is a rough defender, and he also achieves well in the breakdown, averaging over one turnover per game in the Premiership.

Tom Willis

The 23-year-old, who has been playing for Bordeaux after send-off Wasps is one of the finest backrow forecasts in the nation and will join Saracens next season. The former England Under 20’s captain will spend the remainder of the season in the Top 14, and then make the move back to the Gallagher Premiership in the summer on a long-term deal. Willis spoke only last month about his drive of playing for England calmly with his brother.

Will Evans

He linked Harlequins with Leicester Tigers for the 2019/20 season. The flanker enjoyed a stellar rise in the closing phases of the 2015/16 season, making his senior debut for Leicester Tigers against Gloucester. He went on to make 26 arrivals for Leicester, eight as a starter. A standout for England at the youth level, Evans was named to the U20 World Championship Dream Team in 2016. He was a participant in England’s senior EPS squad of 45 back in 2016 at the tender age of 19. Evans made 21 entrances in his entrance season with Harlequins and added a further 16 in his second season in the club where he finished the Premiership season with more turnovers than anyone other player. Injury starved him a chance to feature in the Premiership Final for Harlequins, but the flanker played a pivotal role in their trip to the showpiece event.

We can triumph in France Rugby World Cup too, claims Argentina's other number 10

Gloucester star Santi Carreras believes he can outdo compatriot Lionel Messi with global glory this autumn but first, he must oppose Mission Improbable away to European champions La Rochelle. Santiago Carreras lines up against the winners of Europe with nobody giving his Gloucester team a chance. The Argentina fly-half receives the news with a shrug. He’s seen odds like this earlier.

In Christchurch last summer before Argentina RWC side made history by beating New Zealand on Kiwi ground for the first time. At Twickenham, three months after that, where Argentina had not beaten England since 2006. They put that right too, with Carreras try scorer and man of the game. This might be the roughest challenge of all and not just because Ronan O’Gara's Heineken Cup holders are 15-point choices and have the backing of a capacity crowd.

Gloucester has won once in the Premiership this year and last week even bottom club Newcastle, playing with a man short, knocked them off at Kingsholm. The Cherry and Whites need all the positivity they can find and in Carreras, they have a ready basis. Here is a player who believes the Rugby World Cup 2023 can see Argentina emulate the feat of Lionel Messi’s footballers in Qatar.
