MARINA PAPAGAYO DAY 1: Get settled onboard at Peninsula Papagayo Marina, the gateway to the eastern tropical pacific. This naturally protected harbor offers a haven in a yachting paradise and is within distance of many underwater adventures in the eastern tropical pacific seascape. For your first night at anchor, enjoy a delicious meal prepared by your crew under the starlit sky.
PLAYA HUEVOS DAY 2: Arrive in the morning at Playa Huevos, and anchor to the sound of the howler monkeys. This is a beautiful anchorage surrounded by green foliage, small islands, and white sand beaches. An ideal day for a beach BBQ, enjoy swimming and snorkeling and the various watersports your yacht has to offer. Scuba dive at Monkey’s Head with the eagle rays, take a tender tour into the mangroves, or book a helicopter tour to Rainforest Volcan Rincon – a private reserve with wildlife, monkeys, turquoise waterfalls, and natural thermal pools. Dinner can be organized at Prieta Beach Club restaurant easily reached by tender and boasts a surf bar, lounges, and restaurants. At night, you will cruise to Playa Conchal. (19 nautical miles)
PLAYA ZAPOTAL OR PLAYA CONCHAL DAY 3: Visit Playa Conchal or Playa Zapotal - depending on the wind and swell direction today, one of these wonderful bays will have peaceful conditions and plenty of activities close by. Take a helicopter tour to “Llanos de Cortez” a beautiful waterfall that drops into a tranquil pond with a white sandy beach good for swimming and sunbathing. If you’re lucky, you might spot a humpback whale here while enjoying watersports. At night fall, take a tender ride into Flamingo or Tamarindo and enjoy the Costa Rican nightlife.
PLAYA ZAPOTAL OR PLAYA CONCHAL DAY 4: Spend another day in these beautiful bays enjoying snorkeling or diving at the Catalina Islands and Widow Rock. Here you might see giant pacific mantas and undoubtedly tons of tropical fish. Coordinate with a naturalist guide though the Palo Verde National park where you will see monkeys and thousands of migratory birds. Tonight, you will cruise along to Isla Tortuga.

ISLA TORTUGA DAY 5: Wake up in the most scenic anchorage in the central pacific coast. Take a panoramic tender ride to see the beautiful geological formations. Visit a Private Natural Reserve, Curu’, an easy hike with a naturalist guide observing colorful forests, abundant wildlife, birds and encounters with monkeys. Isla Tortuga is also ideal for a morning helicopter tour to the Arenal Vulcan area. Take the canopy tour at Mundo Aventura or hop over to the thermal pools and the VIP spa at The Springs Resort. In the afternoon enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking between the numerous islets around Isla Tortuga. Wind down the evening at Montezuma Beach and make your way overnight to Manuel Antonio. MANUEL ANTONIO DAY 6: Wake up at anchor in the most popular national park in Costa Rica. Take a hike with a naturalist guide to view the various monkeys and iguanas that inhabit the park. Enjoy an early morning helicopter ride to the Pacuare River Canyon, the most spectacular white water rafting in Costa Rica (3-4hrs). Spend the evening in the protected Marina Pez Vela. Enjoy sunset cocktails on the flybridge watching the sun set. Overnight you will cruise to Drake Bay. (40 nautical miles)
DRAKE BAY DAY 7: You’ve just arrived to one of the most biodiverse places on earth, Corcovado National Park and Drake Bay. A small eco resort village is an inviting spot for a fresh juice or locally inspired cuisine. Drake Bay’s main attraction is its proximity to Isla Cano, a Jurassic Park style island about 12 miles west in the crystal-clear blue waters of the Pacific. It offers world-class snorkeling, and diving with whale sharks, manta rays, schools of bright fish and colorful corals. This evening enjoy a nocturnal jungle walk with a naturalist guide where you will catch exotic creatures, glass frogs and insects.
ISLA DEL CANO DAY 8: Isla del Cano National Park is a biological reserve located in the Pacific region of Costa Rica. Here you will find the ruins of stone spheres that were created by pre-Columbian civilizations. The reserve is a breeding site for humpback whales from both the northern and southern hemispheres, as well as a resident species of dolphins. As one of the newest hotspots for adventure diving, enthusiasts can spend the morning underwater, or for those who prefer to keep dry, the crew can set up a BBQ on the beach where you can enjoy snorkeling in the colorful waters. For another thrilling adventure, try the “Pelagic Park Dolphins Super Pod Experience� with a Marine Biologist expert and snorkel with hundreds of spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and other pelagic dolphins that make the tropical pacific their home.
GOLFO DULCE DAY 9: Wake up at a small bay close to Rincon Golfo Dulce - a spectacular anchorage inside this gorgeous tropical fiord surrounded by high dense green jungle mountains and little islands. This is one stop on the itinerary that won’t soon be forgotten. The surrounding area is thriving with wild and plant life, perfect for aspiring adventurers. Surrounded by Corcovado National Park to the southwest, and Costa Rica’s mainland to the northeast, Golfo Dulce serves up a large platter of entertainment for all who visit. Sprouting along the edges of the Golfo Dulce are mangroves and estuaries full of wildlife. Explore these ecosystems crowded with crocodiles, river otters, waterfowl, monkeys and much more. This evening you will cruise to Playa Herradura. (119 nautical miles)
PLAYA HERRADURA & LOS SUENOS DAY 10: Enjoy your last breakfast on board your yacht while basking under the morning sun. Spend the morning enjoying the last bit of fun on your yacht’s water toys and say your goodbyes to your Captain and Crew. Disembark at Marina Papagayo and prepare for onwards travel.
