Before setting out on the parade, here some tips from the pros you may want to consider: 1. Double check each entry you want to visit for their open hours before you head in their direction. 2. New homes and communities sometimes don’t map correctly on GPS or mapping websites, so be sure to check the driving directions included with each entry to ensure that you’re heading in the right direction. 3. Plan for at least 20 minutes in each model, and allow for bathroom stops and meal breaks between home tours (most model homes aren’t equipped to accommodate these necessities). 4. Dress comfortably. 5. Bring a list of your must haves along with a pencil and notebook to jot down notes as you go. 6. Take pictures (but always check with the onsite representative first) 7. Collect literature at each stop you make 8. Talk to the onsite representatives and ask questions! These are the experts about the homes, options, warranties, suppliers, products and more!
