Through July 12 at Tutto Caffe, 4833 New Broad St., Orlando. The theme for this art exhibition is the outdoors — or “alfresco” — captured in small plein air pieces as well as studio works. Artwork on display will depict nature, wildlife, florals, home exteriors, landscapes and outdoor scenes in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, pastels, watercolor and pen/pencil. JULY 26 SM SWISS TENNIS ACADEMY SUMMER CAMP
9:15 to 11:45 a.m. Monday, July 26, through Friday, July 30, at Glenridge Middle School. SM Swiss Tennis summer camp is a great way for younger athletes to get an introduction to the game of tennis in an informative and fun environment. Whether this is a camper’s first time playing tennis or they have played before, this camp will help them learn and improve stroke skills, hand-eye coordination, court positioning and other essentials of the game through a series of fun and exciting games. JULY 24 CHARCUTERIE AND CALLIGRAPHY
3 to 4:30 p.m. or 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Blue Jacket Park. Join Sip & Script for a fun picnic with The Plaid Picnic Company and pretty lettering. Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY bride-to-be or just a crafty individual, in this workshop, you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home décor and more. The $75 fee includes charcuterie cones, an engraved champagne flute and soft drinks. Class includes oneand-one-half hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, two letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on.
