The Observer Media Group and Legacy Events for Education have cracked open a new partnership to present the first Hamlin Craft Beer Festival. Guests will enjoy more than 50 varieties of beer, ciders and more from local, regional and national breweries and companies. In addition to the featured breweries, the festival will feature the Hamlin Cruise-In Car Show; an interactive game zone; an artisan market featuring local businesses and vendors; food trucks; and much more.

The Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund will host its second annual Dare to Dream Scholarship Dinner, which supports Valencia College students impacted by cancer. The city of Ocoee will celebrate the 30th anniversary of this festival, formerly known as the Ocoee Founders’ Day Festival. The two-day event will feature Bret Michaels, Los Lonely Boys and the local Layla Brisbois Band on Friday, April 12. Then on Saturday, performers include Michael Ray, Cooper Alan and Dion Pride, John Ashley and the Tom Jackson Band. In addition, the festival includes the Chick-fil-A 5K and Kids Fun Run, a fishing tournament, vendors and a fireworks show. And new this year is a Battle of the Bands, which will feature local singers, school bands and more Saturday, April 13.

As one of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce’s signature events, Best Fest: The Taste of West Orange is a delight for the culinary senses. This event, now in its 19th year, will feature a variety of unlimited beer, wine and spirits along with many delicious tastes and bites from some of the best local restaurants, bars, caterers and breweries that chamber members have to offer. This event will take place rain or shine.
Horizon West’s biggest celebration of the year, Horizon West Fest, will be a day filled with local food, flair and an abundance of family friendly activities. This year’s event will feature live music from noon to 4 p.m. by local band Beauty and the Beats. The Kids Zone will feature carnival rides, games, a rock-climbing wall, miniature golf, a tot lot and more.
