Welcome to our world of design

Please step inside

The vision of harmoniously merging a profound love for honest Scandinavian design with the idea of looking ahead, instead of looking back, sparked the beginning of WOUD. We wanted to explore the creativity of the designers of tomorrow and their fresh perspectives on what the contemporary world needs. We aimed to provide them with a space to grow. To flourish. A commitment, we still hold on to this day.

For us, the Scandinavian design tradition founds a sense of comfort and ease. It is a natural part of our identity, representing the surroundings in which we have grown up. Its minimalism and harmony serve as an anchor that instils calmness and forms the foundation for creating cosy, comfortable and equanimous atmospheres.

True to honest design

With a broad and deep selection of refined furniture, home accessories, textiles and lighting design, we aim to bring modern design into both homes and public spaces worldwide.

Deeply anchored in our Scandinavian design heritage, enriched by creative perspectives from around the world, our designs embody the

essence of elegant simplicity, longevity and honest craftsmanship. Each with a distinct purpose and functionality.

Drawing inspiration from the clean lines of modern architecture and the serene, soothing hues found in Scandinavian nature, our collection represents a sophisticated and refined interpretation of modernist classics.

Our path towards responsibility

Conscious steps towards a continuous transition

Honesty and longevity are at the heart of our shared identity. These values recur in our commitment to responsible business practices, emphasising integrity, transparency and accountability. We believe in embracing openness in all our actions, whether they showcase our successes or acknowledge our areas for improvement.

Our commitment extends to making more responsible choices holistically, recognising the complexity of the green transition. To progress with a realistic outlook, we have identified three key areas to focus on to reduce our negative environmental impact:

Packaging

Clever, efficient and recyclable/ recycled solutions throughout the collection

Materials

Awareness of responsible solutions focusing on high quality materials including FSC™-certified components

Development and design

Inspire and focus on innovative methods and processes in close collaboration with our suppliers and designers

At WOUD, we deeply resonate with your environmental concerns, and we are delighted to highlight our FSC™ certification as a significant milestone. This recognition emphasises our commitment to starting at the inception of the cycle, focusing on the sourcing and utilisation of raw materials. Please, ask for our FSC™ certified products. Additionally, our interpretation of “responsibility” goes beyond environmental matters; it also encompasses social and humanitarian aspects.
