The second level of the home is spatially placed considerably away from high trafďƒžc. The master bedroom is located down the hall and incorporates the master bath with a his and her toilet and a Jacuzzi tub continuing into the spacious master closet. Within the space, a study and workroom is located near the master bedroom. At the opposite side of the hall are the bedrooms were it will be occupied by the children.

The basement level features a home theater with top of the line built in sound system, a recreation/ game room, a hobby room for the mom and a two-car garage.

Oliver, Machado and Associates are located in the heart of one of the most exciting cities, Atlanta, GA. This Atlanta ofce is a national advertising agency whose won many awards because their vibrant and energetic design approach to advertisement. Oliver, Machado and Associates easily blended in to the 10,000 sq. ft. building shell into a dynamic ADA-compliant interior of functional work spaces, a sense of hierarchy as well as its open oor plan which makes it more of casual space. Taking into consideration the company’s present position within the industry, as well as its future growth potential. It was important to have exible workstations that maximizes the company’s ability to respond to change and capitalize on bringing natural light into the environment. The concept for the rm is to create a functional, progressive and exciting space that allows the company’s continuous capital growth. With the concerns of energy efciency, an overall space will be designed efciently and use environmentally friendly products to keep energy costs down. The design of the space is based on an open linear organizational plan, which contributed to a direct hierarchal system. The space utilizes smooth and non-offensive colors to reinforce the professionalism of the company as well as encourage productivity. The result is an energetic environment that reects the vision and theory within Oliver, Machado and Associates.

Meredith Publications, the publisher of several “Home” and “Design” magazines has decided to establish a Southeastern ofce in Atlanta, Georgia because the city has exhibited immense growth in the last decade and has become an internationally recognized design center. The client, Meredith Publications, requested to design a “Class A” ofce space with a high degree of visibility within the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The ofce space is encompassed 13,000 square feet and should be designed in a manner that evokes the stylistic trends set forth in various publications, emerging technologies that characterized the 21st century and the company’s commitment to sustainable design.

The design concept for Meredith Publications will include a versatile oor plan that will be exible to change and expand with this fast growing company. The oor plan will be open and free owing to allow for maximum circulation and open communication between the employees creating unity in the work space. This ofce will provide distinguished spaces in an open environment. Privacy is also well utilized for the executive members. The atmosphere is overall, a very welcoming, creative, modern showcase.
