WE HAVE A NEW IDENTITY This quarter we’ve completely changed the appearance of our business and all 11 of our shops. The goal was to reflect the vibrancy of our food and to improve the customer’s overall experience of visiting us. And we didn’t stop there - we’ve put together a veritable lego set of parts to support all our future marketing efforts including graphical design elements and lots of food photography covering all our tasty wraps from every angle. Our shops now also have dedicated poster and other advertising space to help us better communicate our message to the world.

Central Storage Facility Acquired We’ve made a big step forward in our quest to reduce costs by securing a 3000 sq ft storage area located at Mile End in the City. This has allowed us to receive orders for dry goods by the palletload resulting in substantial savings after factoring in costs. We have already begun stocking this facility and the savings secured to date have more than covered our set up costs.
EXPANDING, ALWAYS EXPANDING We’re pleased to announce that we’ll soon be opening a new site in Goodge Street, West London. This will take our total number of sites to 12, with more openings planned. To assist with our expansion we are currently in discussion with large landlords such as Land Securities and we have put the word out to property retail agents. In addition we are speaking to smaller 1-to-2 shop operators with a view to do more acquisitions, similar to the acquisition of Flying Burrito which we completed in July this year.
Growth of External Catering Business We are seeking to grow our external catering business, providing food and consumables to businesses in central London. This allows us to diversify our revenue streams and to utilise our storage and production space more effectively. Our new central storage facility is instrumental to these efforts. We are also taking action to increase the number of wrap deliveries that we make to customers in general.
Investment Update This quarter we have succesfully raised £500k in investment to fund expansion. We currently have a share subscription round open to raise up to £2.5m.

Updates to our Menu We’ve recently made updates to our Mexican menu including the incorporation of a slow-cooked beef barbacoa recipe and changes to our salsa and rice. This is a result of our succesful incorporation of the Flying Burrito business. We’ve also upgraded our falafel to make it more visually appealing and with better texture. This month we’ve launched a Mexican Fiesta wrap as a limited special and this features a spicy pineapple, sweetcorn and chilli salsa. From now on we will be launching specials such as this on a regular basis.
Human Resources Update Due to our expansion we now have a dedicated HR function and moreover we currently employ 75 people across the group. But more importantly (for some anyway) we will have a Christmas party this year for the first time! So its time to dust off the dancing shoes. 4
