Meet the Women Wine Makers at Pares Balta Winery

Not only are there 5 estates situated around the winery and in the mountains—altitude varies 170-750M, but they have their own flock of sheep, natural fertilization and bees for pollination. The vines live in a natural, biodynamic ecosystem bringing full flavor and robustness to the grapes.

The Masia Parés Baltà cavas have a long history which dates back to the 1930s. The story of bottling wines at Parés Baltà begins with the cavas.

Penedès flagship local variety grapes include: Xarello, Granatxa and Malvasia de Sitges as well as Parellada, and Macabeu.
