This year, the WSAVA Continuing Education (CE) Committee restructured and appointed new cooordinators for; Eastern Europe West Africa South Asia South East Asia Digital CE in addition to the already appointed regional coordinators for Central&South America and Southern Africa. During the CE committee meeting in Toronto, Canada in July 2019, members created a new strategic plan that will focus on developing a 'WSAVA CE Curriculum'. The WSAVA Curriculum aims to give more structure to our CE program and to benefit veterinarians by ensuring we are providing the highest quality and most relevant education.

Due to the restructuring of the committee and the focus on developing our digital CE, we expect the numbers for 2019 to be lower than 2018.

In 2018, we delivered CE to 3290 veterinarians in 35 countries. The total costs to run CE in 2018 was approximately $ 73,000 .
