STONES CRICKET CLUB AWARDED CLUBMARK STATUS! Stones Cricket Club are delighted to announce that they have been awarded Clubmark status which recognises the progress that the club has made, providing the right environment that ensures the welfare of its members, whilst encouraging everyone to enjoy and stay involved in sport throughout their lives.
This accreditation acknowledges Stones Cricket Club, as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participation in cricket for all age levels, as well as helping parents and carers know that they are choosing the right club for their young people.
A huge vote of thanks goes to everyone involved at the club for their help in getting this award!
The 2014 season starts on Saturday 19th April. This year Stones CC will have three Senior teams; 2 playing on Saturdays and 1 playing on Sundays. In addition, there are 6 Junior teams, with players aged 7 through to 17! All teams play in the newly sponsored…… Fosters Halifax Cricket League.
New players and new families are always made most welcome at the club. The recently refurbished clubhouse with Bar, lounge, TV, kitchen, disabled and baby changing facilities plus Wi Fi is also available for hire. All enquiries should be made to the secretary.
