UPWARD BOUND By Uriel Bailón
Go to the lounge; Go to your room; Turn in your electronics, It’s bedtime soon. Do all your homework; Finish your Research Project; Needless to say, This summer’s been hectic. But answer this question: Was it less than you expected? If it was then I stand corrected. You’ve all become stronger Don’t try to neglect it. Maybe not physically But when you look into the mirror There’s a new person reflected. Look all around you So many people, So many faces, Some different cultures, Some different races. Even though you may not see them They’ll always be around We’re all a new race We are Upward Bound.
