surface worker found mostly single plants, meaning they were not in large patches. Plants seem to be damaged by the chemicals but they are still rotted in the ground. Many of the plants I found were laying at the bottom of the pound floor but were still rooted. This caused a slower process on trying to find the plants.

By semi-dead, it is meant these plants were less hurt by the herbicide than those found elsewhere in the pond, including at the end of the dive transect at the eastern mouth of Filurin Cove. Pick markers and explore former hotspots near exit of Filurin Cove. Large plants near eastern extent of cove were very much bent over - almost none were standing straight up - in contrast to those at southwest corner of the cove that were still standing straight up.
