surface worker found mostly single plants, meaning they were not in large patches. Plants seem to be damaged by the chemicals but they are still rotted in the ground. Many of the plants I found were laying at the bottom of the pound floor but were still rooted. This caused a slower process on trying to find the plants.

Description Check of markers at Filurin Cove turned up patches of semi-dead milfoil. By semi-dead, it is meant these plants were less hurt by the herbicide than those found elsewhere in the pond, including at the end of the dive transect at the eastern mouth of Filurin Cove. The plants in the usual spot in the southwest corner of the cove in

Pick markers and explore former hotspots near exit of Filurin Cove. Large plants near eastern extent of cove were very much bent over - almost none were standing straight up - in contrast to those at southwest corner of the cove that were still standing straight up.

Looking for signs of milfoil from surface while supporting divers Ted did underwater search of Mansion Beach to Ted Williams Point. Sam did snorkel/paddleboard board scout of eastern shore, starting at Dudley Point and going to outlet. Noreen and Lexi did boat search and marker buoy throwing at Mansion arm and Lowery to 2 to 8 feet * Outlet arm. Lee was met up with and he covered the

Found 1 plant in Turtle Sea (standing stem but root came out easily and mostly black. Found 4 plants ~50 ft off SW of Dudley Point: mostly lying on bottom and on substantial rootball. Rest singles, scattered and not substantial rootballs.

Remove tapegrass floating island off Ted Williams Point. The Wolfgang rake with floatie attached proved the most effective in dragging the tapergrass into the boat. Right angle 4-tined weeder was second most effective.

Chat cove.

Of the 12 plants pulled, the stems were in poor shape on all but one plant. That one plant, though, had very substantive stems that appeared almost green and with turgid tissue, as if it could grow a sprig any time.
