“Last summer I cruised the Mediterranean with MSC Cruises aboard the stunning MSC Virtuosa for the perfect family holiday. From the stunning interiors and venues to celebrating my two-yearold’s birthday, here’s some of my highlights and top tips if you’re seeking a family sailing soon... MSC Virtuosa is a great ship for families as they cater to children so well. During my sailing, they cared for my little boy and treated him so wellwith waiters bringing him his favourite snack of strawberries; singing to him for his birthday and even making a special effort to come over and play for a while each evening. There is a special kids menu on-board including age appropriate dishes for those 6-12 months and over 12 months old, while they can also opt for a variation of the main menu if required. High chairs

and travel cots are also provided, as are strollers in partnership with Chicco - great for reducing the luggage needed when packing for a family!

We bought a fun pass while on-board which offers some additional on-board spend for the arcade for a reduced price, you can also pre-purchase these before embarking and they come in different quantities. We opted for the Premium Drinks Package, which gave us peace of mind in terms of spending whilst on-board.”

“Last year, I had the most amazing Cruise and Stay holiday at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix! As an avid fan of Formula One, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to combine a cruise holiday with the sporting event. I arrived in Abu Dhabi, where I joined the F1 sponsors - MSC Cruises - on-board the MSC Virtuosa. The ship was stunning and served as a hotel for the duration of the Grand Prix, with the Galleria LED ceiling showcasing the Formula One theme.

I booked to attend a track experience which, in itself, was incredible and I would definitely recommend anyone to look into this if you’re a big fan like me. Another amazing excursion I attended was the F1 experience that included the Track Tour, the Pit Lane Walk and (if you’re anything like me) you’ll love that you have the option to include the Trophy Photo to really get the ultimate experience.

If you’re wanting to get on the track for the podium ceremony after the race, my top tip is to head over to the main grandstand just before the race ends

and you’ll be able to join a queue for access to the track. It’s well worth it as the view is incredible.

Yacht Club is very much a ship within a ship, most of the time I felt like myself and my family were in our own secluded part of the ship with access to unlimited drinks, lunches and dinners, as well as our trusty butler – Jeffrey. He made sure we had everything we needed, and my kids loved him!

The Yacht Club is perfect for families looking to enjoy some quality time together. With no queues or crowds, and our own concierge desk to visit if we required, it meant we spent more time together as a family and spent time making perfect holiday memories we will cherish forever.
