Atthesametime,WashUrecognizestheindividualityofitsstudents,andweencourageyou totailoryourorientationexperiencetoyourownpersonalneedsandpreferences.YourFall Welcomeexperiencewillcompriseeventsrelatedtoyouracademicdivisions,programs designedforjustinternationalstudents,andsocialactivitiesforeveryone.

Someeventsarerequired,whileothersareoptional;however,westronglyencourageyouto participateinallprogramsinordertomakethemostofyourFallWelcomeexperience.

Students will check in with the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) and receive swag and other welcome information.

SHOPPING TRIP

NOON – 6:00 PM | MALLINCKRODT CENTER, BUS TERMINAL

Shuttles will be available from WashU to Brentwood Promenade, a local shopping center, so international students can purchase any necessities they may need.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

8:30 PM – 9:30 PM | SOUTH 40, MUDD HOUSE, MUDD MULTIPURPOSE ROOM

Students will have the opportunity to connect with fellow first year international students and mentors over ice cream in a relaxed setting.
