Würth DOS System The Würth DOS system is an innovative one handed measuring system, which represents Würth quality whilst always looking into further development. It is a proven and stylish system, which clearly demonstrates its organisation, practicality and preciseness qualities whilst having valued content. Würth DOS products are used for the locking and sealing of closely mating metal parts in applications such as locking threads, retaining bearings, flange and gasket seals and sealing pipe work. They are designed to cure when oxygen is absent (anaerobic). These products are formulated to give different levels of hardness and reactivity on curing. WHY OUR SYSTEM ORGANISATION • The DOS System is simple organised system using a storage rack, no time is wasted searching for products and you gain a quick overview of remaining stock. • The storage rack enables upside down storage of bottles enabling the content to be instantly ready to dispense without shaking or squeezing. • You have a capacity for 14 bottles which means high used products can be double stocked. PRACTICALITY • The practical user-friendly one-handed application with the easy to operate twist lock means you always have one hand free to hold material or tools. • The measuring head has a self-cleaning closure system, this is to make sure that no residual product remains in the nozzle. • The products are silicone free, making them unlimited use in automotive environments. PRECISENESS • The bottle gives you an infinitely variable dispensing system, quantity can be dispensed based on application, and this minimises costs of product used and saves the customer money. • The accordion bottle is used for high viscosity materials which minimises costs because bottle can be virtually completely evacuated.
PRODUCT • The products are used in the automotive, metal, construction and electronic industries • The material is applied in a liquid state directly onto an oil and dust free surface • The cleaner the surface, the stronger the bond • These adhesives cure in an anaerobic environment, i.e. the adhesive only hardens when not exposed to oxygen for this reason, the containers are only 3/4 full. • The curing speed is influenced by the catalytic effect of metal as well as the width of the gap. The more passive the material and the wider the gap, the slower the adhesive will cure. These passive materials are: Nickel, zinc, tin, precious metals, aluminium with a low Cu and /or manganese content, high-alloy steel, oxide or chromate layers, plastics, glass and ceramic materials • The product is resistant to a wide variety of lyes, gases, solvents, oils and fuels.
