USB Setup Guide Ensure the Snooper box has power and the power light is on. Next, connect the USB cable to the Snooper box. If a second light on the Snooper box appears (orange light) please proceed to the Bluetooth and firmware help guides. If a second light does not appear and a ‘found new hardware wizard’ appears please continue reading.
When the wizard appears please click ‘No, not this time’ as we do not want to update from the internet.
On the next screen please click ‘Install from a list or specific location’ as we want to select a driver from a file.
Make sure the ‘Search for the best driver in these locations’ is selected then also check there is a tick in the ‘Include this location in the search’ box Once you have ticked the box please click the browse button.
A new window will appear with a list of folders. Please click on C:\ then click on Program Files then click on WOW then AC_Diagnosis_module then Drivers. Each time using the small + symbol to open each folder. Once you have clicked and highlighted the drivers folder please click ok.
The screen will then disappear leaving the previous page as shown. Please click Next to continue.
The drivers will then be searched for within the location previously specified.
After a few seconds a warning message may appear as shown, regarding compatibility with windows. Please click ‘Continue Anyway’
Once you have clicked continue anyway the drivers should be installed and you should be faced with a ‘Completing the found new hardware wizard’ Please click finish. After finishing the above process there will be a new ‘found new hardware wizard’ at which time the above process should be mirrored to complete installation.
