cupboard. It has a number of shelves. We can store water, fruits, vegetables, bread, butter, cheese, jams, milk and even cooked food in the fridge. The fridge uses electricity to keep food and drinks fresh and cool. Food does not go bad in a fridge. We can also store ice-cream and frozen food in the freezer. We can also make ice in the freezer. A refrigerator is an important invention of science.
