Primitive Art The term 'primitive art' is broadly used of the sculptures, and to a lesser extent paintings, of people living in tribal societies. These objects are made by people living an existence less materially developed than our own, but also because tribal art makes no attempt at the realism which has been usually preferred by those who dwell in towns. But primitive art has no interest in realism. Its purpose is to engage with the spirit world. The images, masks and statues suitable for dealing with spirits are not made according to the laws of perspective. They are seen with the eye of magic.

Venus of Willendorf The Venus of Willendorf, also known as the Woman of Willendorf, is an 11.1 cm (4 3/8 inches) high statuette of a female figure estimated to have been made between 24,000 BCE – 22,000 BC. It was discovered in 1908 at a site near Willendorf, a village in Lower Austria near the city of Krems.

Ancient World Ancient history is the study of the written past from the beginning of recorded human history in the Old World until the Early Middle Ages in Europe and the Qin Dynasty in China. The period following these events includes the Imperial era in China and the period of the Middle Kingdoms in India; The span of recorded history altogether is roughly 5,000 years, with Sumerian cuneiform emerging from the protoliterate period around the 30th century BC being the oldest form of writing discovered so far. This is the beginning of history, as opposed to prehistory, according to the definition used by most historians.

The Holy land of the Ancient Indus Valley : Indian Civilization

The Holy land of the Indus River valley : India The Indian literary tradition has an oral history reaching down into the Vedic period of the later 2nd millennium BC. Ancientis usually taken to refer to the "golden age" of classical Hindu culture, as reflected in Sanskrit literature, beginning around 500 BC with the sixteen monarchies and 'republics' known as the Mahajanapadas, stretched across the Indo-Gangetic plains from modern-day Afghanistan to Bangladesh. The largest of these nations were Magadha, Kosala, Kuru and Gandhara. Notably, the great epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata are rooted in this classical period.

Renaissance The Renaissance (from French Renaissance, meaning "rebirth"; Italian: Rinascimento, from re- "again" and nascere "be born") Beginning in Italy that spanned roughly the 14th to the 17th century and later spreading to the rest of Europe. As a cultural movement, it encompassed a rebellion of learning based on classical sources, the development of linear perspective in painting, and gradual but widespread educational reform. Traditionally, this intellectual transformation has resulted in the Renaissance being viewed as a bridge between the Middle Ages and the Modern era. Main Representation Leonardo Da Vinci Michelangelo Buonarroti Raphael Santi
