SPEAKER HIGHLIGHT VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
AMY NEWFIELD CVT, VTS (ECC)
WHAT
IS SOMETHING YOU LOOK FORWARD TO AT 2025 WVC?
I look forward to meeting new people, networking with the participants and absorbing some knowledge!
WHAT DOES ‘GAME ON’ MEAN TO YOU?
Time to step up and get to it! Each day we have personal challenges thrown at us. Game on. Let’s take those challenges, embrace them and tackle them. It may be our education in veterinary medicine we need to game on or a relationship with a coworker. Game on. Challenging ourselves is how we grow and succeed.
WHAT
IS YOUR ADVICE TO FIRST TIME PARTICIPANTS?
Have fun, but try to avoid knowledge fatigue by only writing down 2-3 takeaways from each lecture you go to. Don’t try to write everything you hear. Find the 2-3 highlights of that lecture and only write those down so you can remember the most important things that grabbed you.
WHAT IS ONE THING YOU LOVE ABOUT WVC?
Getting to spend time with my colleagues.
WHAT
IS ONE KEY TAKEAWAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH
