SEASON REVIEW 2021-22

» During the fall slate, sophomore Momoko Nagato and junior Penny Hsieh advanced to the quarterfinals at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) Atlantic Super Regionals. The duo’s appearance in the quarterfinals marks WVU’s first time since Kat Lyman and Anne-Sophie Courteau in 2019

» At the 2021 Martha Thorn Invitational, the Mountaineers finished the weekend with 15 wins between doubles and singles play

» WVU had two players finish with 20 or more win seasons, including freshmen Camilla Bossi and Tatiana Lipatova

» Two Mountaineers appeared on the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, including senior Anastasiia Bovolskaia and Nagato

» For the first time in program history the doubles pair of Bossi and junior Ting-Pei Chang made their debut at No. 42 on the ITA doubles rankings. Went on to make for consecutive appearances on the double’s rankings

» Tandem of Bossi and Chang topped No. 5-ranked pair from Baylor on March 20

» Bovolskaia finished her career with 83 total wins, tied for No. 33 in program history
