However, King said, work on the powerhouse addition at Ice Harbor Lock and Dam has been
stalled by the cold. He said he didn't know how many workers were affected. Theron Young, Walla Walla Community College architect, said all of the outside work is shut down at the new campus, with the exception of minor work on the well house. He said there are about 8 to 10 employes of subcontractors working inside buildings with the aid of localized temporary heat. However, he said it will be about March 1 before the contractor will be able to go '•full bore" on parking and exterior finish work and laying tile, carpeting and interior painting, all requiring warmer weather.
