INDUCTION Section 4 – Procedure 6 Date of Issue: January 2013 Date of Review: January 2015

Depending on their position in the organisation, the Executive Officer (EO) and/or the Chair of the COM, or Coordinators Administration or as relevant the BINSA Accountant, will provide the following information to staff, COM Members, students on placement, and volunteers in accordance with: •

Policy on employment practices

Details of relevant award entitlements and responsibilities

Pay period and method of payment

Location of award manual

Information regarding delegation of responsibility and channels of communication

Introduction to staff of BINSA their positions and projects

Information about day to day running of BINSA, the administrative requirements e.g. telephones and messages, photocopying, computers, lunch and coffee breaks, staff meetings, front diary, office hours etc.

Orientation and training in hazards and risks of workplace including Emergency Evacuation Procedure and Threatening Behaviour procedures and Code of Ethics Conduct and Conflict of Interest

Information regarding the location of BINSA Constitution, Annual Report, Policy and Procedural Manual.
