Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position for a DBT Builder funded project at IISER Kolkata
Position: Applications are invited for the position of a JRF on a DBT Builder funded project at IISER Kolkata.The candidate will operate at the Common Flow Cytometry Facility at the Department of Biological Sciences, IISER Kolkata.
Scope: The candidate will be expected to independently manage the sorter which would involve routine operation, data analysis, research project consultation and training of users
Duration: 3 months – which could be extended upto 3 years based on satisfactory performance.

Fellowship: As per DBT norms and JRF guidelines
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Chemistry /Physics or M.Tech with training in Biotech. Candidate must have qualified NET or GATE or any similar national level examination
Desirable: Practical e different areas of biological sciences and working knowledge of flow cytome
