Candidates are invited to appear before the selection committee in the online interview for filling up the purely temporary position in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship” programme, under the supervision of Dr. Shailesh Kumar, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:
Name of Position: Project Associate-I (PA-I) 01 post.
Upper age limit: 35 years.
Eligibility: Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the DST-OM SR/S9/Z05/2019 dated July 2020 and having a M. Sc./M. Tech. degree (with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Bioinformatics are eligible to appear for interview. If the candidate does not have master’s degree in bioinformatics, then M.Sc. and, at least six months research experience in the field of bioinformatics and data sciences will be required to shortlist the candidate for interview.
The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is completely on temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years. The initial appointment will be for or extended based on the performance of the candidate and discretion of the PGR reserves the right to select the candidate against alifications and experience of the candidate.
