Advertisement for Post-Doctoral Fellow
Applications from Indian nationals are invited for Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) positions under the project RIN4002-SCS-Basic Research in the School of Chemical Sciences, Bhubaneswar funded by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
Essential qualifications: PhD degree in the relevant area of Organic/Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis.
Research Area: Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis
Desirable: Prior experience in organic synthesis, inorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, deuteration of organic compounds and catalysis is preferred.
Fellowship: As per existing rules of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Govt. of India. The positions are purely temporary. The appointment is made for a period of One Year at a time and extendable to a maximum tenure of two years upon satisfactory academic performance subject to the availability of funds. HRA will be paid if accommodation is not available on the campus and Contingency grant will be spent as per rules.
RA-I: Candidates successfully defended their thesis and having less than one year experience after award of PhD degree, Monthly fellowship: 47,000/- INR
RA-II: Candidates with one or less than two years of experience after award of PhD degree; Monthly fellowship: 49,000/- INR
RA-III: Candidates with 2-3 years of experience after award of PhD degree; Monthly fellowship: 54,000/-

The candidates who are short-listed based on their CV, research statement and letters of reference could be interviewed either in person or through video-conferencing before the final selection is made.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate, for appearing in the interview or for joining the position.
