Qualifications

Post graduate degree in basic sciences with NET qualification (or) Graduate degree in Professional course (Life Science) with NET qualification (or) Post graduate degree in professional course (Life science) Desirable: DMLT technician with work experience in a blood bank/ biochemical/ microbiology laboratory Preferable: Animal handling experience Post graduate degree in basic sciences with NET qualification (or) Graduate degree in Professional course (Life Science) with NET qualification (or) Post graduate degree in professional course (Life science). Additional experience related to teaching or research in the area of Animal Reproduction is desirable.

Salary (Consolidated)

Rs. 25,000 /- per month with 30% HRA (Rs. 32,500/-)

The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project Instructions:  Candidates with the eligibility are requested to walk into the Department of Clinics, Directorate of Clinics, Madras Veterinary College Campus, TANUVAS, Vepery, Chennai-7 for the written test with original certificates in support of age, qualifications, Photo ID and experience certificate (if any) atleast 30 minutes before the scheduled time.  Working personnel are requested to attend the interview with No objection letter from the present employer. No. TA and DA will be provided for attending the interview.  The written exam would be for one-hour duration with multiple-choice questions in english for JRF and in tamil for Laboratory Animal Attendant.  The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be curtailed/extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority.
