Applications are invited for the contractual post of Junior Research Fellow in following research project under operation in the Division of Floriculture and Landscaping, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India which is purely on temporary basis. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture / Floriculture and Landscape Architecture or M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Science / Biotechnology / Agricultural Biotechnology from a recognized university with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph. D. in any of above discipline as per ICAR memorandum (F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 09.10.2015) Desirable Qualification: Experience in plant tissue culture and proficiency in computer skills.
आयु सीमा : अगधकतम आयु 35 ििच है (अिस ु गू चत जानत / अिस ु गू चत जिजानत एिं मदहला उम्मीदिारों के ललए पांच ििच और अनत वपछड़ा िगच के उम्मीदिारों के ललए तीि ििच की

Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women candidates and three years for OBC candidates). The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. Initially the appointment will be up to 31/03/2019 or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The post of Junior Research Fellow is extendable further based on performance of the candidate. The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute. The walk in interview of eligible candidates will be held on 16/07/2018 at 10.00 A.M. onwards in the chamber of Professor, Division of Floriculture and Landscaping, IARI, New Delhi-110012. The candidates have to bring a copy of bio-data (signed) as per the format available on the IARI website (www.iari.res.in), original certificates and attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and a copy of recent passport size photograph. The interested candidates may also send their bio-data by post to the Assistant Administrative Officer, Division of Floriculture and Landscaping, IARI, New Delhi or e - mail ( kanwar_iari@yahoo.co.in ) before the date of interview. The candidates personally reporting up to 11.00 (forenoon) will only be interviewed. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview. It may be noted that Master’s degree certificate either original or provisional is essential while attending the interview. Candidates whose near/ distant relative(s) is an employee of ICAR/IARI has to declare it and communicate this office as per format given below before interview.
